W is for Wishlist

Because I'm at a loss for interesting postings, I thought I would share with you guys what is currently on my "wishlist", you know, that list that every female has at all times, because well, we just do. Basically what this is, is a list of everything I would go and buy right now if 1) I didn't have responsibilities that cost money, like gas and clothes or 2) I actually had the kind of money to buy every single thing on here. Sinking economy? What sinking economy..

Canon Powershot SD1100 ISSince the beach broke my camera, and I've yet to win my lawsuit against the beach for having stupid rocks buried in the sand, I have decided that I need to move on and just get a new camera. My old one was the Canon Powershot SD1000 and I LOVED it, it took the BEST pictures. This is the model that is one up from it, and the best part? It's pink. The not so great part? It's relatively expensive (I haven't found it for under $165).


Law and Order SVU: Season 8 on DVD
I'm a Law and Order: SVU junkie. I don't watch much TV, but this is one show that I LOVE. I have seasons 1-7 on DVD so far because I don't have that lovely thing called, "Ti-Vo" and I'm not allowed to watch TV during the week. According to Amazon.com, Season 8 comes out on Feb 17...Looks like I need to save some serious money (that or get a second job). Seriously though, how can you resist the hottness that is Chris Meloni?


Kitchen Aid MixerMy boss has this mixer and I'm in love with it! It makes cooking (especially baking) so easy. I have a hand mixer that I use when I need to mix things and it's probably not a good sign that it caught on fire over the holidays while I was making cookies. This is a really expenisve mixer though, so somehow I don't think I'll be getting this until I get my own apartment or I get married - whichever one comes first (let's hope for marriage!).


Chi straightening iron
Need I say more? This thing is AMAZING. My best friend has one and it makes your hair so shiny and straight. Everyone I know that has one is incredibly happy with their purchase and they come highly recommended, despite their price of over $100.00. It's on my list as something to get before graduation. HINT HINT.

iPhone

So I know that I techinally won an iPhone back in July or something through a blog contest, however they sent me the money instead. And it was more expensive to go and renew my contract with AT&T, etc. Plus they charge you an extra $50 a month for using the iPhone (or something like that..or maybe my dad lied to me so I wouldn't get it). That said, I took the money and went to Chicago and had me a fun old time on Michigan Ave. So it was money well spent. My main reason for wanting an iPhone? Because apparently you can get this application for it called a Period tracker. Anything that tracks my period for me is well worth the money. Becuase my writing on my calender can never be that realiable.

Cottage Stripe Duvet Cover

This adorable duvet cover from Pottery Barn Teen is fabulous. My favorite colors are pink and green and I need a bedspread for college. (And who says that I can't start shopping for my bedroom in January..August will be here before I know it..that, or it's a really poor excuse to shop). Anyways I would love to take my beautiful bedspread that I have right now (it's pink, green, white and has Pink and green Pineapples!!), but it's a Full and my college bed will be a Twin XL. Therefore, Pottery Barn Teen it is, as they are the only place I've seen that sells that size. This set is on sale, but theres no more Twin sizes left, so maybe I'll get lucky and A) find one on Ebay or B) wait it out a few months and find something I love even more. I'm opting for option B.
